Do your managers simply delegate tasks or do they coach their employees?
Studies have shown coaching is the quickest and most effective method for developing your employees.
People Biz, Inc. has been invited to lead their popular management training course, The Coaching Clinic: Coaching Skills for Managers at the WISE Business Center. The intention of this course is to transform your ability to engage others by moving you from a command and control model of communication to one of collaboration and accountability.
The course will be led by expert trainer and professional coach Alicia Marie. Watch an excerpt from a past Coaching Clinic below. In it Alicia discusses listening. A foundational skill of communication.
AFTER ATTENDING THIS SEMINAR YOU WILL FIND YOURSELF:
Using a collaborative and supportive management model instead of “Command and Control”
Seizing daily coaching situations
Using behavior assessments and applying them to daily coaching
Identifying goals and creating action plans with your employees
In addition to managing your employees, the communication skill-set learned is useful in sales, parenting, and with peers and vendors. This is a fun, highly participative and practical course designed to provide you and your managers with the tools and skills needed to become an outstanding coach.

“I attended the Coaching Clinic and it was worth the trip to Austin! Every manager who has direct reports should consider taking this workshop to improve their listening skills, increase employee retention, and gain the tools to be a better manager by becoming a better coach. I highly recommend this course and I encourage you to find 2 days because in that short time you can actually learn how to improve your business and inspire your team.”

“The Coaching Clinic led by Alicia Marie was absolutely incredible! As a financial advisor, I find myself using the techniques and tools from the seminar in my every day conversations with clients; helping them to make financial decisions on their own! In the past, I would’ve simply solved the problem for them and made the appropriate recommendations, ultimately, telling them what to do. Today, I can coach a client through their own question and create a plan of action that feels good to them! Listening to the excitement in their voices as they resolve their own financial concerns is priceless! Thank you People Biz, Inc.! Thank you!”

“Alicia Marie is an amazing trainer/coach! I attended her Coaching Clinic and will never forget the experience. She touched and changed the lives of all twelve of us in that class. We walked in expecting to learn a little bit about coaching employees and walked out learning a lot about ourselves as well as a whole new perspective on what Coaching really is. I will highly recommend her to others!”
